Terms of Service

1. General

These terms govern your use of zaymyanmar (the "Service"), a classifieds marketplace operated for users in Myanmar. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. User account

To post a listing or send a message you must create an account using a working Myanmar mobile phone number. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal — do not share them.

3. Privacy

Our privacy policy describes what personal data we collect, why, and how long we keep it. It forms part of these terms.

4. Phone number verification

We verify that you control the phone number you register with by sending a one-time code (OTP) over SMS. We do not perform national ID verification at this time; sellers and buyers are expected to exercise their own judgement when transacting.

5. User-generated content

You are solely responsible for the listings, messages, and other content you post. By posting, you confirm that (a) the content is accurate, (b) you have the right to post it, and (c) it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. You grant zaymyanmar a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute the content on the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, source code, brand marks, and underlying database are the property of zaymyanmar or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, scrape, or reproduce any part of the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

7. Commercial use

If you post listings as part of a business (for example, as a car dealer or property agent) additional rules and, in future, a separate advertiser agreement apply. Contact support@zaymyanmar.com for details.

8. Prohibited content

You may not post content that:

• Is illegal under Myanmar law.
• Offers stolen goods, drugs, weapons, wildlife, or human trafficking.
• Is fraudulent, misleading, or contains scam patterns (advance-fee, fake escrow, etc.).
• Infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
• Is sexually explicit, promotes hatred, or targets a person or group.
• Is spam, duplicate listings, or listings placed in the wrong category.

9. Limitation of liability

zaymyanmar is a platform. We do not buy, sell, or inspect the goods listed on the Service and we are not a party to any transaction between users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from a transaction between users, from user-posted content, or from your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold zaymyanmar harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms, your content, or your unlawful use of the Service.

11. Communication and conduct

When contacting other users through the messaging inbox, keep communication respectful and on-topic. Harassment, threats, or solicitation unrelated to the listing may result in account suspension.

12. Messaging service

The in-site messaging inbox is provided so buyers can contact sellers about specific listings. Messages are stored on our servers and may be reviewed if reported for abuse. Do not use the inbox to share sensitive personal or financial information with strangers.

13. Misuse of the service

You may not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service, attempt to circumvent rate limits, tamper with other users' listings, or interfere with the operation of the site.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. You may close your own account at any time from your account settings.

15. Assignment

You may not assign these terms. We may assign them to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the Service.

16. Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time. If a change materially reduces the functionality available to you, we will announce it in advance.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved in good faith by negotiation and, failing that, by the competent courts of Yangon.
