Engineering

Full-stack Engineer

Ship marketplace features across web, mobile and backend — own the stack end-to-end.

What you'll do

  • Ship listings, search, storefronts and messaging across web + iOS + Android
  • Own database schema and API design — Postgres + Drizzle + Next.js App Router
  • Build new category verticals (property, motorbikes, jobs) on the shared platform rails
  • Iterate quickly in production — small PRs, tight review cycles

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years shipping TypeScript / Next.js at production scale
  • Comfortable with SQL and relational modelling
  • Prefers simple, maintainable solutions over clever ones
  • Bonus: Capacitor / React Native / mobile experience
Engineering

UI/UX Engineer

Design-forward engineer who ships polished components — a design system in code, not slides.

What you'll do

  • Own the design system — Tailwind components, tokens, motion, typography
  • Ship pixel-perfect, accessible UI for low-end Android and iOS
  • Work directly with the founder and ambassadors on interaction design
  • Bridge design and engineering — communicate clearly with non-technical teammates

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years shipping React/TypeScript with a portfolio of polished UI work
  • Strong sense for typography, spacing, motion and accessibility
  • Excellent communicator — writes clearly, gives useful design feedback
  • Bonus: Figma proficiency, illustration or motion design
Business

Community & Partnerships Lead

The ground team — recruit and support the 8 ethnic-community ambassadors from Yangon out.

What you'll do

  • Recruit, onboard and support 8 community ambassadors across ethnic groups
  • Source founding weavers, boutiques and wedding-wear sellers for launch
  • Run weekly cohort-health tracking with each ambassador
  • Represent Zaymyanmar in person at Yangon events, community gatherings and seller visits

What you'll bring

  • Fluent Burmese; comfortable moving between Burmese and English
  • 3+ years Myanmar B2B, community, or partnerships experience
  • Existing network in traditional crafts, textiles, or wedding industry a strong plus
  • Comfortable in person, on WhatsApp and on Facebook Messenger
Business

Growth & Marketing Lead

Own the founding-seller acquisition — Facebook campaigns, content, cohort activation.

What you'll do

  • Own Facebook Myanmar campaigns end-to-end — audiences, creative, budget, analytics
  • Write launch content in Burmese and English
  • Activate the founding-seller cohort — 200+ sellers by launch day
  • Own marketing analytics — cohort activation, retention, seller referral loops

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years Myanmar consumer / marketplace / SME marketing
  • Bilingual Burmese + English; can write copy in both
  • Comfortable with Facebook Ads Manager and analytics tools
  • Bonus: prior early-stage / founding-team experience

What we offer

Founding-team compensation.

Salary

Myanmar market wage, paid monthly. USD or MMK — your choice.

Location

Yangon-based. Engineering roles have hybrid flexibility; business roles need on-the-ground presence.
